Data Wall

Data walls are sometimes referred to video walls or media walls. The difference is the type of information being displayed on the wall. There are a multitude of uses for a data wall and Pixell has the answer for any situation or installation problem. So what is a data wall and what formats are available. A data wall is a large electronic display of a single image or set of images. Typically multiple display devices are tiled together as close as possible to form a matrix that gives a single screen look. These data wall use a video processor to either scale the image across all the screens or provide separate images to each screen in the data wall. This allows for optimum viewing of particular events.
The individual screens in the data wall can be as small as 4 inches diagonally or as large as 120 inches diagonally. A front or rear projection system can be used to display the images depending on the size of the wall and available room for installation. Light emitting diodes (LED) are used in the wall for displaying images of data. LEDs can be as small as 0.5 mm to present fine quality images that provide high definition quality to the images being displayed for excellent contrast and sharpness.
