Fusion F980

Pixell is an innovative company that offers, manufactures and distributes a wide range of services for products like Video Walls and Video Processing systems for Command and Control, Traffic Operations Centers, Conference rooms and Casinos. Perhaps the most innovative and interesting product on offer is the fusion f980 Multi Screen wall controller that is specially designed to suite Windows XP computers. In addition to being the ideal tool for command and control applications, this product also offers amazing visual performance and flexibility. The product can be used without any trouble, in installations such as Network Operation Centres, Public Utility Control Centres and Intelligent Traffic Management Centres. Moreover the product can be used in Process Control, Civil and Military Surveillance Systems, Call Centres, Financial Management Control Rooms, Boardroom and Video Conference Rooms.

The fusion f980 wall controller is an innovative leading product that excels in most fields. The controller itself is specifically manufactured to integrate and include the existing visual data sources found in a standard control room. The Display Wall Processor is specifically mobile and adjustable in windows positioned on a virtual display made up pf multiple output devices. Such devices would include monitors, LCD screens, plasma screens and panels, projection cubes and rear projection systems. Data sources that could be used include local applications, remote network applications, and directly connected video and analogue RGB inputs. Most of the data is taken and accessed from a software interface that gives an absolute virtual display surface.

The core aspect at the fusion f980 technology is the fabric interconnect, which previously being only available in high end internet backbone switching equipment is now available as a revolutionary switch fabric interconnect architecture. The components are stored in a separate 8U Switch Fabric Chassis and usual bus architecture is shared between all c0onnected points through the PCI bus architecture. This means that the technology can withstand the high demands of data flow and graphics traffic that is typical of a control room environment. Moreover, the technology also provides switch fabric for each of the 15 peripheral points and has an amazing bandwidth of up to 4GB/S.The peripheral cards connect to a switch card that determines the optimal route that data can flow between the cards; in general this allows for a fast ultra high bandwidth service that is efficient and hassle free.

Moreover, an optional parallel switch card is available to help in the increase of broadband to an amazing 8GB/S for each slot. This more than guarantees that the fusion f980 technology gives fast RGB, graphics and video performance no matter what size the display walls are. This in general also ensures quick and efficient operation in the unlikely event of a switch card failure. In addition to high performing graphics, flexible video display, high performance RGB inputs and constant system availability, the technology offers industry leading CPU architecture. Running at 2.8 GHz in a dual Intel Xeon processor, the technology also offers a 533MHz front side bus coupled to a standard 1GB of DDR RAM, a PCI-X peripheral bus with 3 available slots, and built-in dual Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. What more could one ask for with fusion f980 technology.
