Jupiter’s
high-performance Fusion 950 Wall Controller can drive an array
of up to 14 analog or digital projectors up to a resolution of
1600x1200 pixels per projector. Equipped with a robust software
suite and a plethora of digital and analog input options, the
Jupiter Fusion 950 is designed to satisfy demanding
command-and-control display applications.
The Jupiter
Fusion 950 delivers unequaled ability to drive large projector
arrays used in control rooms for Telecom, Public Utilities,
Dispatch/911/Traffic Control, and Military applications. A cost
effective version of the Jupiter Fusion 970, the Jupiter Fusion
950 includes the following features:
Video
Inputs
The Jupiter
Fusion 950 comes standard with 16 BNC ports and 8 S-Video
ports into the system. The integrated matrix switch allows any
input channel to be directed to any output window, simplifying
configuration. Windows containing video inputs can be moved,
scaled, and iconified like any other application window,
making the Fusion 950 highly flexible and easy to use.
RGB
Inputs
A single HD15
input can be added for RGB graphics to display images on the
display wall from other computer sources such as laptops,
non-networked desktop computers, and legacy systems. The RGB
window can be easily moved, resized, and treated like any
other application window.
Flexible
Interface
Combined with
powerful video and RGB input capabilities, the Jupiter Fusion
950 runs Microsoft Windows 2000, providing compatibility with
the vast majority of Windows applications. Standard features
include UNIX connectivity software to interface with UNIX and
X Window-based computers, the ability to interface with
touch-panel devices from AMX and Crestron, and networking
capabilities to access corporate network-based applications.
ControlPoin™
software, the center of controller activity, manages the
placement and display of RGB and video windows, monitors
system status, and provides open APIs and serial and TCP/IP
protocols to customize operations to meet specific customer
needs. ControlPoint provides a consistent, intuitive GUI
interface for creating RGB and video windows, interactively
placing them on the desktop, and saving and restoring window
display layouts. The software also provides simultaneous
multi-user interaction with the display over a network.
Administrators can define access rights on an individual or
group basis. Included
RemoteCursor™
software enables direct manipulation of display wall content
over a network, conveniently, with the user’s own keyboard
and mouse.
Fusion
950 Configuration
The Fusion 950
can be configured with as many as seven single- or
dual-channel boards supporting up to 14 graphics outputs and,
optionally, a single input for RGB graphics. Standard features
include 16 composite and 8 S-Video inputs, dual 300-watt power
supplies, and a front accessible fan filter.
The Jupiter Fusion 950 is shipped pre-configured with
Microsoft Windows 2000.
